The Three Ravens - based on a German folktale.
It’s a film, with John Hurt as The Storyteller with a text by Anthony Minghella, and Jim Henson creatures (puppets)   

But it feels and sounds like storytelling, and Hurt’s voice is thrilling which is why I couldn’t resist including it!
Priscilla Howe tells her version of The Ghost With One Black Eye - a classic! So much to learn from here -

the use of the puppet to set up (and wrap up the story;

 the singing of the refrain to make it really something

the gesture to highlight the eye

the physicallising of the different family members

the use of hands to tap out the different feet.
Antonio Rocha saw me tell Don’t Eat Your Little Sister at the SISF, and liked it so much that he asked me if he could create his own version. You can see the result here. A marvellous demonstration of how two tellers tell the ‘same’ tale in totally different ways.
A terrific drawing story by Judy (sorry don’t know your last name!) THE GHOST ON PETERSEN’S FARM.  A lovely halloween story for the young?
