STORY  T R A I N I N G

Who do you want me to train in the art of storytelling?

• Your students? (primary, secondary)
• Your teachers (classroom strategy)

• Key staff? (leadership through stories for Principals, HODs, Subject Head)
• Your organisation (key personnel, staff)
• Your community (such as Association, support group, counsellors, church group, volunteers, museum docents, tour guides)  

My workshop style is highly participatory and hands on. Overwhelming feedback is that I’m an entertaining trainer; the stories make the sessions engaging, and the activities are often the kind of thing teachers can implement the next day.   

Sessions usually include the following:

• Me demonstrating by tellling stories in a variety of age-appropriate ways
• Opportunities for participants to practise their own storytelling skills
• And, if appropriate, looking at some pre/during/post telling activities to make the storytelling more effective.
