DARK AS NIGHT
COLOURFUL
AS A RAINBOW
was a celebration of my 30 years storytelling in Singapore
staged at the
Ngee Ann Kongsi Auditorium, SMU
31 Aug - 2nd Sept
We are waiting for the final tally of ticket sales, but I’m hoping to make a donation of $5,000 to the Singapore Association
for the Deaf
There were three extremely noisy matinees, with stories told using props, participation, puppets, call-and-response, drawings supplied by 8 members of the audience, mime, sign language, in tandem and using tangram pictures (projected with powerpoint.) Phew!
One of the most popular stories was Randy and Gophi’s slow motion race between two runners who broke all the rules to make sure they won - and of course, both lost!
